I’m so glad you’re here. Quail Creek Design is where I share the home projects I’m working on, the ideas I’m excited about and the pieces I love, all with real family life in mind.

My style is warm contemporary with mid-century modern influences. I love natural materials like wood, linen and stone, mixed with a few organic modern pieces that make a space feel calm and lived-in. That said, I don’t think every home should look like mine. When I decorate, I look at the house as a whole and let its architecture and character guide the design, instead of forcing my style into a space where it doesn’t belong. A home just feels better when every room makes sense together.

My process is pretty simple. I start by styling the space myself and hunting down pieces I really love. Then I use AI design tools to suggest ideas and create mockups, so I can see how everything looks together before I commit. It saves a lot of second-guessing (and a few returns!).

What you’ll find here

You’ll find budget-friendly makeovers for the hardworking parts of a home, like laundry rooms, mudrooms and entryways, along with easy DIY upgrades such as board-and-batten walls, new hardware and fresh paint. I also share a lot about kid-friendly spaces: playrooms, nurseries, toddler rooms and toy storage that actually keeps the chaos under control. Mixed in with all of that are whole-home organization ideas and product finds that look beautiful and still hold up to everyday family life.

Whether you’re planning a full room refresh or just looking for the right piece to finish a space, I hope you find some inspiration here.
